Hello, nice to meet you!

Running to Make "benson First"

I am committed to bringing greater transparency to city decisions, holding elected officials accountable, and ensuring that major projects serve Benson residents first not outside interests.

Benson deserves leadership that listens directly to its people, protects our quality of life, and makes thoughtful, resident-focused choices for the future.

I am proud to continue serving as your voice on the City Council.

After winning the recall,

I am running in the July 21 Primary to keep fighting for a better, more open, and more accountable Benson that works for all of us.

Why I’m Running in the July 21 Primary

On May 19th Benson voters delivered a powerful message by successfully recalling three incumbent council members and electing me (along with Ross Kaplowitch and Derrick Fenn) to those seats. That recall victory was an important first step, it removed officials who failed to prioritize transparency and resident input, especially on the aluminum plant issue.

However, under Arizona law and Benson’s election schedule, the seat I filled in the special recall election is temporary. The full four-year term for my council position will be decided in the regular 2026 election cycle.

That’s why I am now running in the July 21 Primary. I want to earn your vote for a complete term so I can continue the work we started:

  • Bringing real transparency to City Hall decisions
  • Holding officials and unelected bureaucrats accountable
  • Ensuring major projects serve Benson residents first — not outside interests
  • Protecting our quality of life and listening directly to the people

The fight didn't end with the recall, it’s just beginning.

I’m asking for your continued support in the July 21 Primary so we can lock in lasting change and build a Better Benson for the long term.

lack of transparency

The lack of transparency in Benson's city government stems from officials withholding key details on the Aluminum Dynamics aluminum recycling plant proposal, limiting public input, and providing inadequate oversight of zoning processes, eroding trust and sparking the May 19, 2026 recall election.

handling of zoning

I'll tackle Benson's zoning problems head-on by enforcing fair, transparent processes, prioritizing resident input, protecting neighborhoods from incompatible industrial projects, and ensuring decisions serve our community's long-term quality of life.

water usage

Benson's water woes stem from a proposed aluminum plant's massive usage demands, and new talks about Data Centers. In a drought-stricken area, these bad ideas are risking aquifer depletion and community sustainability.

Benson Issues

From my discussions, Benson right now, the city's biggest issues revolve around the proposed Aluminum Dynamics Inc. (ADI) aluminum recycling facility and the fallout it's created.
